Come join us as we help dancers prepare to audition for the 2026-27 dance season!
In these classes dancers will be taught the syllabus dances required for auditions and will also get a head start on the solo/non-partnering choreography. These classes are intended to help students feel prepared, feel confident, and find a partner if needed. Classes will be held for two weeks, from May 11th to May 21st. The schedule for each class is as follows:
ADVANCED High School Prep Class
Partnered Classes - Mondays & Thursdays
6:00pm - 8:00pm

Solo Choreography Class - Saturday, May 16th
9:00am - 11:00am

ADVANCED Junior High School Prep Class
Partnered Classes - Mondays & Thursdays
4:00pm - 6:00pm

Solo Choreography Class - Saturday, May 16th

BEGINNER/INTERMEDIATE Junior High/High School Prep Class

We welcome all to come audition on Saturday, May 23rd for our award winning competition and performance Ballroom teams at Premier Ballroom & Dance Academy. Come join our 2026-27 season and have the time of your life!

Auditions for HIGH SCHOOL age teams will be held from 8:00am to 12:00pm
​
8:00am - High school age dancers arrive, turn in paperwork, pick up audition number, and warm-up
8:30am - Syllabus routine portion of the audition begins
10:00am - Partnering portion of the audition begins. This will include dancers learning a short partnering pattern to
showcase how well each dancer picks up new choreography
11:00am - Solo work portion of the audition begins. ALL dancers should plan on participating in this section, including ladies interested in participating in an All Ladies team
12:00pm - Thank you for coming! Dancers are welcome to go home!

Auditions for JUNIOR HIGH school age teams will be held from 12:30pm to 5:15pm
​
12:30pm - Junior high age dancers arrive, turn in paperwork, pick up audition number, and warm-up
1:00pm - Solo work portion of the audition begins. ALL dancers should plan on participating in this section, including ladies interested in participating in an All Ladies team
2:00pm - Syllabus routine portion of the audition begins
3:45pm - Partnering portion of the audition begins. This will include dancers learning a short partnering pattern to showcase how well each dancer picks up new choreography
5:15pm - Thank you for coming! Dancers are welcome to go home!

Auditions for 3rd-6th Grade ELEMENTARY school age teams will be held from 3:15pm to 5:15pm

3:15pm - Elementary age dancers (3rd-6th grade) arrive, turn in paperwork, pick up audition number, and warm-up
3:45pm - Solo work portion of the audition begins. ALL dancers should plan on participating in this section, including ladies interested in participating in an All Ladies team
4:15pm - Syllabus routine portion of the audition begins
4:45pm - Partnering portion of the audition begins. This will include dancers learning a short partnering pattern to showcase how well each dancer picks up new choreography

All high school & junior high auditions will be held in Studio 2 and elementary auditions in Studio 3
at Premier Ballroom & Dance Academy, located at
967 McCormick Way, Layton UT 84041.

*PLEASE NOTE: Our Pee Wee Ballroom (1st & 2nd grade) competition team and
performance ballroom teams (non-competitive) will be open enrollment for the 2026-27 season
